Ariel Faith-So far the book is boring. It has been written well, but it is really boring. It seems like it is written for people who are college level students and the words are kind of hard to follow. It seems as though they are trying to confuse you at first and ease you into it.
-Amber Jolly- The author is successful in his writing because he is, so far, telling about how Pi got his name and how he helped his father with the zoo, which made him like animals. He is also successful in his writing by using lots of great imagery when he describes the animals.
-Chance Turner- The work connects to my life by Pi being made fun of by his name, and this happened to me before once and has made me mad just like him. When his professor called him “pissing” it made him embarrassed.
